Today was the presenation of the Thüringer energie Team in Erfurt, Thüringen (Ger).
In Comparison to season, TTe was totally restructured and seems more specialized on Sprint Races. Therefore four Tour and Timetrial Riders left team in order to find their future in other teams. Particularly Aaron Nagel was realy diappointed to leave that young german team.
"It's hard to see, that our successes in hard climby races doens't count anything to Retho. I hoped to get a secure spot in this team and that he would try to get some assistant climbers. Unfortunately i was wrong."
Retho, happy that his riders found new teams, said that for his small team it was hard to get a good balance between climbers and sprinter.
"For a team with only 11 riders it's not reasonable to sign in every races. Out assistant riders, like Eno Leok, were really exhausted after this season. Because we should take care about the health of our riders we want to reduce drastically our race program, but make out team much stronger for those races".

Season 16 will be a hard one for TTE. The teams success is pressed on three young riders. If Winfried Reinhold, Jakob Marant and Klaas Kruijs won't reach their potentials, Retho will for sure look back to Misbah, and Nagel with some tears in his eyes.
Eli, National Team Manager, cherishs also great expectations on Winfried Reinhold. In some years Sturmann and Michielsen will end up their careers.
"At this point i see noone but Winfried who can inherit our sprint captain status. So let us hope that his new role with all the new duties and expectations in TTE won't destroy his mind and potential"

The management of TTE is pleased to hear that :)
Nagel will recieve some more training and will captain team Oekiewakkie, with full climbing support. So he is already happy!
